After collaborating with a director to produce an award-winning music video for Ed Sheeran’s “Amazing,” Sydney-based creative duo Michael Grocholsky and Rodrigo Badoino are setting their sights even higher through their Newport-based video production company Leche Productions, with a new TV series and an original feature film script.

With 29-year-old Rodrigo editing the Sheeran video footage live on set each day, they proved their artistic prowess. Now the busy partners are bursting with even more creative energy as they look to produce a TV series called “Ambos for Hire,” set in a dystopian, privatised future of ambulance services, as well as an original feature film focused on pre-wedding dinner chaos.

Their first self-produced content was a hilarious YouTube series called “Shambleton” that they produced as biweekly episodes by transforming their own home into a set. Whilst they may revisit it for fun in the future, right now they are focused on their TV pilot, feature film, and running the business.

In addition to their own creative projects, Leche Productions does commercial work for clients, many local businesses looking for help with branded video content for social media and broadcast.

Beyond telling their own stories, Rodrigo shared they also want to help other people in the community tell their stories. They’ve been going door-to-door in Newport, Mona Vale, and Avalon talking to local businesses about their video production needs.

After building an impressive portfolio of commercial work for major clients like Manchester United and local businesses in need of video content, Grocholsky and Badoino are ready to bring their own creative visions to life on a grander scale whilst also helping others in their community share their stories through video.
