Police, firefighters and paramedics responded to reported theft, traffic, fire, hazard, assault, disorder and medical incidents across Newport and Mona Vale from Saturday, 30 May to Thursday, 4 June, according to reports received by authorities.
Theft And Break-In Matters
A shoplifting report from Barrenjoey Road, Newport, was received by NSW Police shortly before 1:30pm on Sunday, 31 May.
On Tuesday, 2 June, NSW Police attended Livingstone Place, Newport, just before midday after a break-in was reported.
A further theft report was made just after 5:00am on Thursday, 4 June, after property was reportedly taken from a vehicle parked on Bardo Road, Newport.
Traffic Incident
NSW Ambulance came across a two-car collision on Barrenjoey Road, Newport, near Bramley Avenue, shortly after 6:00pm on Thursday, 4 June. No injuries were reported.
Fire And Hazard Responses
Fire and Rescue NSW Mona Vale Station responded to Queens Parade, Newport, just before 9:00am on Monday, 1 June, after a gas leak was reported. Firefighters found a gas line had been damaged during street works. The road was closed until Jemena attended for repairs.
Just after 4:00pm on Monday, 1 June, crews from Fire and Rescue NSW Mona Vale Station were sent to Grandview Drive, Newport, after smoke was reported at a property. They found a small patch of bush burning near a home and put it out using a hose reel from their truck.
Assault Reports
In Mona Vale, NSW Police attended Wallaby Circuit shortly after 11:30am on Saturday, 30 May, following a report that a person had been assaulted.
A second assault report in Mona Vale was made shortly after 4:30pm on Sunday, 31 May, with NSW Police called to Park Street.
Disorder And Vandalism Reports
NSW Police were called to Barrenjoey Road, Mona Vale, just before 3:30pm on Sunday, 31 May, to assist with an intoxicated person.
Later that night, shortly before 8:30pm, police received a report of property damage on Smauel Street, Mona Vale.
Medical Response
NSW Ambulance responded to Park Street, Mona Vale, shortly before 11:30am on Thursday, 4 June, after a man collapsed. Bystanders gave CPR before paramedics arrived. He was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.
Authorities responded to the reported incidents, with inquiries continuing where required.
