Kave Bar is this dark underground watering hole found on Barrenjoey Road. While it might seem like this bar looks eerie because of the lack of lights, Kave Bar is actually one of the warmest places to be when you’re in Newport.
This establishment boasts of simple but tasty bar food like Peruvian chicken wings, burgers and cheese plates. However, people generally come here for their specialty drinks, the vibe, and musical performances.
Every Wednesday, Kave Bar hosts an Open Mic Night for anyone to sing or play a tune. For the rest of June 2019, the bar will showcase the following performances:

Do you know that The Newport on Kalinya Street hosts a free movie screening every Monday? You can enjoy watching blockbuster Hollywood films and family classics amid the stunning view of the Pittwater as you sip a glass of your favourite cocktail or indulge in a cup of gelato.
For the rest of March, Cinema by the Sea will screen the following films:

For the past Mondays since December 2018, this cinema in Newport has hosted movie nights featuring “A Star is Born” (2018), “Guardians of the Galaxy” Volume 1, and “Toy Story 3.”

At The Newport Mother’s Group, you can enjoy a nice cup of freshly made coffee or even have scrumptious breakfast at the Kiosk Cafe whilst catching up with your girl friends. Who knows, you might even meet some new ones too.
But mums are not the only ones that get to enjoy The Newport Mother’s Group. Your little ones will also enjoy and be entertained throughout the entire duration of the weekly session. Kids will have their educational music and activity class, Learn to the Beat, in the games room from 9:45 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.

The Newport Mother’s Group is a weekly event that was brought by The Newport in partnership with the Northern Beaches Mums. It is a recurring event that began last 2018 and continued up until June of 2019.
Everyone is encouraged to join in and participate in this weekly Mother’s Group session. Also, the attendance for this event is free! So, feel free to invite your friends other mums in your neighbourhood.
